How did you know you wanted to be an author? It was just something that simmered away for a number of years. As I was an advertising copywriter, the transition wasn’t so difficult. The difficult part was going from 60 secs to 60,000 words.
What is your advice for aspiring authors? Make sure you have something that is different or naturally appealing to the readers. Covers work in music but in literature they call it plagiarism.
Do you have any writing rituals or practices? Not really. I prefer to write in the morning when I am fresh. If I hit a brick wall, I come back another day.
What message to you want readers to remember? That I have a humorous bent in me. Even my serious crime stories always include some light-hearted banter. Some of it is cringe worthy.
How can fans get in contact with you? I have a contact page on my website. I don’t really do Twitter although I have a page somewhere.
