Author Bio: Donna O’Donnell Figurski is a wife, mother, and granny. She is a teacher, playwright, actor, writer, picture-book reviewer, and photographer … and she became the caregiver for her husband and best friend, David, when he had a traumatic brain injury in 2005. Now, Donna writes a blog called “Surviving Traumatic Brain Injury”; broadcasts her radio show, “Another Fork in the Road” on the Brain Injury Radio Network; and works on promoting her memoir, “Prisoners without Bars: A Caregiver’s Tale.”
