How did you know you wanted to be an author? As a kid I saw my mother, sisters, children and my people being treated badly. I knew then as I know now this was not right, I also knew I was different from the rest of my siblings and friends in school. I just did not know what that was until much later in life. I started to repair TV and Radio sets from the age of 8, it is during this time I also ended up in hospital and was surrounded by people who were dying. I knew then that one day I will write a manual for humanity. I felt this calling to do something about all of the injustice I observed in my family and in the society I grew up in and was subjected to from a very young age. I knew it in my heart that one day I will go around the world to help people heal their body-mind, be more loving to one another, and contribute towards creating a just, democratic and more peaceful world.
What is your advice for aspiring authors? Every day is a page in the book of life. In you there is a unique book, a calling, and a vision you want to bring into this world, listen to it, get yourself a book coach, and start writing. You will be amazed what you can achieve in 90 days of consistent writing. Remember, every adversity you have been through can be a lesson of inspiration for someone out there that may be going through similar things in life as you. Listen to the voice inside, be bold, and keep going forward.
Do you have any writing rituals or practices? I love starting by creating a chapter plan first, then I write down the book business plan, and then I meditate. Once this is clear I start to write consistently for 90 days between two to four hours a day.
What message to you want readers to remember? So connected, we disconnected and feel desperately alone in an ocean of infinite possibilities.
We have become accustomed to a new way of being alone together in a technological cocoon that covers up our real pain. Our true essence is hidden behind facades that we show to the world from the fear of being judged, criticized, and rejected. This is what brings us out of a natural state of healthy balance, is the root cause of disease, and what creates the segregation experienced worldwide.
In a world where communication is instant, where billions of people can interact at just a moment’s notice, it will come as a shock to many to learn that loneliness is an epidemic more rampant and destructive that at any point in history. In fact, almost everyone faces adversity from loneliness that causes them some degree of depression, anxiety or diminished self-esteem.
In essence, we are invited to not only look at the problems facing our current and future world, but to transform our approach.
#Loneliness is a global call for people to redefine themselves in the face of life’s greatest challenges. Comforting, moving, and spiritually practical, this book is a guide to help people break through their apparent loneliness, and shift them toward crowd-nurtured world peace and the next stage in our evolution.
Loneliness not only disintegrates peoples’ mental and physical health, but also infects their genome and leads to multiple changes, while painting a dark and negative picture of the world around them, explains the author, who is on a unique mission to help 1 billion people awaken their heart’s wisdom. The most surprising thing to learn is that today’s obsession with technology does nothing more than simply awaken the loneliness already inside us all, which further spirals our moods and outlook. The goal of this book is to make people aware of that problem and empower them to redefine themselves and their lives so they can overcome adversity and build the happiness and prosperity they so deeply crave.
Continuing, The book shows people how to listen to their heart in ways they didn’t know possible, amplify their awareness and ultimately break free of the cocoon that is stopping them from seeing and embracing the beauty of this world. But it goes beyond us as individuals; It all starts with this book.
