How did you know you wanted to be an author? Being an avid reader all of my life, I had toyed around with the idea of writing. During college, I found that writing poetry was rewarding and thoughts of a novel had always been there. It wasn’t until the loss of a dear grandmother, that I found myself pondering life and decided to finally take the plunge and go for it.
What is your advice for aspiring authors? If you enjoy it, then go for it! Remember that not everyone will be a fan, but many many others will. Write for your pleasure and those that love your novels will be the extra reward. I’ll admit that fans truly are the icing on the cake of an already rewarding adventure. Happy writing!
Do you have any writing rituals or practices?Driving! It may sound unusual, but I spend a great deal of time on the road. While driving, I can play with storylines and characters to get them figured out before I even sit down to write.
What message to you want readers to remember?Reading is a fun pleasurable escape and enjoy it! Share the gift of reading with others and be a proud bookworm!
How can fans get in contact with you?
