How did you know you wanted to be an author? I didn’t start writing until I was 65. I had a message that I just had to get out: Live Fearlessly! Take chances for change! I wrote two books on those topics. I am on my third book now.
What is your advice for aspiring authors? Follow the intuition you feel from your heart. Always have a message that can change someone’s life, not just tell a story.
Do you have any writing rituals or practices?I write early in the morning – 5am for two hours. Then, I go about ruminating all day on the details and I write those down in a little book as I go along in my day. Any little idea could grow to be a blockbuster one.
What message to you want readers to remember?Never give up on your dreams! If you feel compelled to write, just do it (as Nike would say) and see what comes out. You can always edit later. The nuts and bolts of an idea are the most important to get on paper.
How can fans get in contact with you?You email me at sue@SuePighini.com. I would love to hear from everyone!
