Book Synopsis: Would you risk everything to be cool? 12-year-old Duggan McDuggan doesn't feel she has a choice. Her habit of talking to trees has made her the most teased kid in her village. There's no way Duggan is giving up her tree friends to stop the teasing so she's formed a daring plan. With her two Woodsy-Troll friends, she's going to journey to Eshmagick, the fabled realm of the Faeries. This will certainly stop the teasing. No one in five hundred years has made it there and back again. There's a hitch, however. To get to Eshmagick, Duggan and her friends will need a Faerie guide. Unfortunately, legend says harming a Faerie brings down a terrible curse and it's next to impossible to catch a tiny Faerie without harming it. With her reputation already shot, Duggan is not about to let some ancient story stop her. But what if they mess up and there really is a curse?
