How Did You Know You Wanted To Be An Author? I transform people’s lives by being a mentor, leader and coach across business, career and life. I am passionate about many things, and always wanted to be a writer of historical fiction/non-fiction. As my career evolved into helping people grow and transform, others gravitated toward me for positivity and problem solving advice. I realised I had powerful messages to share, and wrote a book full of practical advice for optimistically dealing with tricky situations and transforming your life.
What Is Your Advice For Aspiring Authors? Just do it! One of the biggest killers for not realising your dream of being an author is procrastination and getting stuck in overwhelm, thinking it all has to be done instantly. My advice, take a pen and paper, or your laptop and jot down your thoughts, musings or observations down and do a bit at a time and formulate your chapters. Then spend 30 minutes a day organising and compiling your notes into those chapters and then start writing...enjoy the process and the result!
