First, helping them set goals for the retirement life they wanted and needed. Second, to assure they would have the money they needed to fulfill their retirement goals. Third, to help them through the financial aspects of aging including how to pay for the additional care they needed and preserve their assets. And lastly, to help their families settle their estates.
Nancy also looked after her mother for 12 years giving her a greater opportunity to see firsthand many of the challenges of aging as well as the opportunities to make it the best it can be.
